Professional Development
The Partnership's professional development coordinator can help you plan and attain your professional development goals. She won't do your homework, but she will help you select college-level coursework, register for classes, and find sources of financial aid.
In addition, the Partnership offers twice yearly professional development supplements to reward child care providers who have reached certain educational milestones. Click here for an application.
The regional training calendar with workshops and trainings throughout the ten county region can be found by clicking the calendar link at the bottom of this page.
Contact Bobbi Holley at 252-333-3205 or

Go online: While it is evident that getting an education is beneficial for child care providers, it can be difficult to find the time to attend classes. Online classes are a helpful alternative, as busy professionals can take classes according to their schedules.
Early childhood education courses, both online and traditional, are offered at the following area colleges:
College of the Albemarle
Elizabeth City State University
Martin Community College
Roanoke Chowan Community College
